Senior Citrix Consultant
We are looking for a Certified Citrix Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) that is also a Microsoft Certified System Engineers (MCSE). This position will take on a senior role in some of our key clients in order to offer senior consulting services primarily in the area of Citrix technologies.
Key Qualifications
- Strong Citrix knowledge across the entire product suite.
- Experience architecting enterprise class Citrix solutions.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
- Good understanding of routed networks, DNS, DHCP.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English.
- Must be a team player but also be able to work independently and unsupervised.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent analytical, time management and project management skills
- The ability to work effectively with people in a high volume/high stress technical support environment
- Good teamwork skills are critical.
- Proficient with PC and server software.
- Valid driver’s license and able to travel to client sites.
Education /
Certification
- Post-Secondary education in a related technical discipline or equivalent professional experience
- Citrix CCEA certification
- Microsoft MCSE certification
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of administration or technical support experience in a production Microsoft 2000/2003 server environment
- Minimum 4 years of Citrix administration, technical support or consulting experience
Other Skills
- Networking (Novell, Internet, Cisco)
- Microsoft (SQL, SMS, IIS, Proxy, Exchange, Active Directory)
- Firewalls, VPN
- Software packaging and deployment experience would be a benefit
- VMWare experience would be a benefit
- Altiris experience would be a benefit
- Softricity experience would be a benefit
