Senior Citrix Support Specialist

Overview

As a member of the managed services team you will work independently or as part of a larger team to manage, maintain and support IT solutions. You will also be called upon to provide problem determination and remediation services.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, manage and maintain assigned Citrix environments

  • Proactively report on capacity trends and possible issues

  • Remediate customer technology environments by researching, identifying, and resolving technical problems

  • Documentation and knowledge transfer

  • Contribute to the development of playbook and checklists for ongoing maintenance

  • Work with internal and external subject matter experts to expand self-knowledge base

  • Assist in the development of new service offerings

  • Assist in the development of practice expertise and cross training of other team members

  • Obtain and maintain technical certifications related to job function

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

Must have

  • Deployment experience and knowledge in Citrix Apps & Desktops

  • Solid understanding of core Citrix technologies including Storefront, Provisioning services and Machine Creation Services, Receiver, Director, Delivery groups/machine groups, ICA fundamentals

  • Master image updates and maintenance

  • Installation, configuration and provisioning of MS Server technologies

  • Design and deployment of one or more of the predominant hypervisors – vSphere/XenServer/Hyper-V

  • Networking fundamentals – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Layer 2/3 switching/routing

  • Documentation skills – Assessment reports, Build Guides, Process and procedures documents, Runbooks, Statements of Work

  • Monitoring and reporting of Citrix and MS server infrastructure health and capacity

  • Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills

  • VDI and application delivery as wells as end user experience monitoring and troubleshooting

Senior Network Specialist (NGFW)

Overview

You will work independently or as part of a larger team to implement and/or provide problem determination and remediation services related to advanced networking technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical services related to the assessment, design, implementation, migration, upgrades, and technical documentation.

  • Remediate technology environments by researching, identifying, and resolving technical problems.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

Must Have

  • Expert level experience with Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW). FortiGate or Palo Alto firewalls preferred.
  • Experience with ADC and load balancing technologies. Citrix ADC or F5 preferred.
  • Firewall and anti-virus technologies and concepts such as:
  • Unified Threat Management, Intrusion detection and prevention (IDS/IPS) systems, Remote network access (VPN), Distributed denial of service prevention (DDoS), stateful inspection, Web application firewall protection (WAF), Email and messaging security (Hygiene), Web content filtering
  • Expert level knowledge of transmission control protocol/internet protocol (TCP/IP), DNS, authentication and security protocols (LDAPS, AAA, SSL, TLS).
  • Expert level experience working with industry standard switches and routers, monitoring solutions
  • Experience with and/or advanced understanding of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, IPv6 and MPLS and other standard routing protocols
  • Experience with creation of physical and logical network design documentation
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in OSI Layers 1-7
  • Experience with building, maintaining and reviewing all configs/settings/policies on chosen technologies, as well as troubleshooting and remediation
  • Experience with analyzing the complete security architecture from the network to desktop and associated security controls.
  • Ability to design solutions for addressing gaps in an existing security architecture
  • DMZ Architecture
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN support and engineering design for voice, data and video networks at Access, Aggregation and Core network locations
  • Familiarity with Open Network (SDN, NFV) concepts, goals and evolutionary track
  • Preference to those with scripting experience, preferably focused on bash, tcsh, PoweShell
  • Preference given to those with hands on experience with Citrix ADC and the advanced features included GSLB, Application Firewall, Access Gateway, Content Switching, Rewrite and Responder policies

Account Executive

Overview

The Account Executive will be responsible for developing a territory plan and executing on this plan to drive profitable growth within a specified cross-industry territory as well as:

  • Provide solutions to clients integrating services, software and infrastructure offerings.
  • Be comfortable relating to all level of our clients.
  • Develop new sales; manage and grow the current portfolio; achieve annual sales and profitability targets.
  • Co-ordinate with technical delivery teams to ensure customer focused solutions.

Director of Professional Services

Overview

The Director, Professional Services will have overall responsibility for Professional Services for Gibraltar Solutions. They will work directly with the VP of Sales & Services and collaborate with the broader executive team to build an organization that delivers strong financial results and long-term organic growth.

  • Develop and execute a plan to deliver on-going organic revenue growth in the business.

  • Provide monthly and quarterly briefings about the business results and plans.

  • On site customer visits to ensure high level of satisfaction.

  • Ensure processes are in place for proactive customer follow-up, communication & issue management.

  • Ensure contractual obligations are met and a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained.

  • Act as a mentor to direct reports and high-potential employees to ensure continued talent development within the organization.

  • Act as an escalation point for customers.

  • Manage the direction and development of Gibraltar’s Professional Services portfolio, including development of a Project Management Office (PMO).

  • Assist in the development of service offerings, pricing plans, marketing materials, sales enablement, statements of work and supporting contracts that achieve standardization of deliverables.

  • Establish best practices, processes and systems that enable excellence in the execution of professional services and project management.

  • Set clear team objectives, track progress and inspire a high-performance culture.
